Iris Johnson Arnold, Ph.D., CCC-SLP; RBW PH Awareness Group Board Secretary.
Dr. Johnson Arnold graduated from South Carolina State University (bachelor’s and master’s degree) and University of Memphis (doctor of philosophy degree). In high school she aspired to go to the Peace Corps and be a well traveled woman with colorful stories to share. Today she is employed as a college professor at Tennessee State University and is a certified speech language pathologist.
Herman Hicks; RBW PH Awareness Group Board Treasurer.
Herman graduated from Emory & Henry College (Bachelor of Science—Business Management with Concentration in Accounting) and University of Phoenix(Masters of Business). In high school he aspired to be a connector of people. Today he is employed at First Tennessee Bank.
Jennifer Haile-Ojwang; Sits on Annual RBW PH Awareness Day Committee
Jennifer graduated from Spelman College and University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. In high school she aspired to be an attorney. Today she is employed at National Fraternal Order of Police.
Tamika Hudson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CLC; RBW PH Awareness Group Board Member
Tamika graduated from Tennessee State University (Bachelors in Science), Vanderbilt University (Masters in Science), and is completing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (Samford University). In high school she aspired to be a Nurse Anesthetist. Today she is employed at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing as an Instructor and is a Family Nurse Practitioner at The Next Door.
Roberta Scott Pettis; RBW PH Awareness Group Board Member
Roberta graduated from Tennessee State University (B.S. in Health Administration and Planning) and Meharry Medical College (MBA). In high school she aspired to be a Hospital Administrator. Today she is the President and Co-Founder of FocusWorks Consulting Group, a training and development firm specializing in developing people and organizations.
LoLita Toney; RBW PH Awareness Group Board Member
LoLita graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University (bachelor’s and two master’s) and is attending the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (to obtain a doctor of philosophy degree). In high school she inspired to be a successful professional with a large loving family. Today she is employed at the National Museum of African American Music.
Dr. Jewell Winn; RBW PH Awareness Group Board Member
Dr. Jewell Winn graduated from Tennessee State University (Master’s in Public Administration and Doctor of Education) and MTSU (Bachelors degree). In high school she aspired to be a human resources manager. Today she is employed at Tennessee State University.
Kerrie-Taylor Leech; RBW PH Awareness Group Advisory Board Member
Kerrie-Taylor is a graduate of the University of Mississippi (bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and public relations). In high school she inspired to be a broadcast journalist who produced her own morning talk show like the Today’s Show Kathy and Hoda In the Morning. Today, she is marketing coordinator for Skanska USA Building, a commercial construction management firm in Franklin.
Kendra Brown, SPHR, SHRM-SCP; RBW PH Awareness Group Advisory Board Member
Kendra Brown serves the Roberta Baines Wheeler Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Group as an advisory board member for the KYB Leadership Academy. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville (Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a marketing major and international business minor). In high school she aspired to work in finance and do something business related. Today she is the Director of Corporate Human Resources at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc.
